Most every young man that finds himself on Substack listening to this particular podcast is going to have a hard time finding a proper mate that is compatible, the selection process to get this far into the rarefied atmosphere of right-wing Substack is going to select for somewhat of an odd bird, speaking from experience. Telling men to basically "just do it" is counterproductive IMO, that's not really how it works. I'm not a doomer but the landscape can be really bleak out there. I am 34 and could have been married like 3 times over now if I wanted to but would have either been divorced with kids by now or in an absolutely incompatible and miserable marriage.
Appreciating the kid-care stories right now. My son brought a nasty stomach bug from school last Tuesday, and he and the other four of us have serially spent 1-2 days with vomiting/diarrhea.
Currently it's the turn of my wife and the 8-week-old, the latter of whom has crapped through 20+ diapers over the past day. I don't quite know how to describe the feeling of solidarity it's brought...
