What impresses elites is belief, that’s the thing they don’t have, that’s the thing that they want. And people who believe things don’t plead with the public for approval.
It works a lot like it does with women. Confidence and conviction win, willing generally does not. Sure you can buy minor affection through groveling. That’s what Noah Smith and Richard Hanania do, and the dark elves tolerate them. But I don’t want the Dark Elves’ toleration, I want their love.
